Credit Policy
In order to hold down fee
increases, The Woman’s Clinic has adopted a “payment at the time of
service” policy. Please be aware that you are responsible for the
entire amount even though you may have insurance coverage. At the time
of treatment, we expect payment of insurance co-pays, deductibles and
non-covered services. We are happy to file your insurance claims, and
request a copy of your insurance card to ensure accurate information
for processing. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. For your
convenience, The Woman’s Clinic provides one central patient billing
office; please call us at (208) 345-9971 with any of your questions.
Let
us know if you are unable to pay at the time of service, and we’ll make
plans to accommodate you. After 60 days, any remaining balances are
subject to a finance charge with a periodic rate of 1% per month (an
annual rate of 12%). A $15 service fee will also be charged for any
returned checks.
Exceptions to this general policy may apply for some obstetrical care and surgery fees:
Obstetrical Care
The
portion of the fee not covered by insurance can either be paid in full
at the initial visit or in three prepaid monthly installments prior to
delivery. Interest will begin to accrue on the entire remaining balance
60 days after the date of the delivery.
Surgical Fees
The
portion of the surgical fee not covered by insurance should be paid in
full at the pre-op visit. Interest will begin to accrue sixty days from
the date charges are incurred.
